Best South Florida Pumpkin Patches
I anxiously wait all year for the pumpkin patches to open! It’s no secret that fall is my absolute favorite. And no, Miami doesn’t exactly experience fall weather or the leaves changing colors, but there are still opportunities to get in the fall spirit. I put together a list of some of the best opportunities in South Florida to get your pumpkin-patch on!
12741 SW 216th Street, Miami, FL 33170
I probably should have put this one at the end because well, save the best for last kind of thing. Burrs Berry is my favorite! I think I went 20 times last year, not even kidding. They have a great pumpkin selection, super fun corn maze, a gazillion photo opportunities, playground, garden games, and so much more! Season kicks off in October and they also have gorgeous sunflower fields. Call or checkout their sites for pricing info as I know it can vary depending on weekday vs weekend.
1655 S Flamingo Road, Davie, FL 33325
Another favorite of mine! This was Jed’s first ever pumpkin patch and we go every year to take photos of him here. So many photo opportunities including an elaborate harvest dream setup in front of the cutest house! They also have the best selection of pumpkins so we always buy our carving ones here (they have all of the weird wart-looking ones that I love). Other activities include hay rides, pumpkin painting and the most charming little market around. It’s a must! Admission is free. You just pay for whatever activities you decide to do (incredibly inexpensive). Season kicks off at the end of September.
3. Pintos Farm
14890 SW 216th St, Miami, FL 33170
Pintos Farm is another excellent option if you want a lot of activities for the kids. They have great photo opportunities and an excellent pumpkin selection. Other activities include pumpkin painting, tractor rides, pony rides and a petting zoo. Admission varies from $14-$23 depending on when you purchase tickets and for what day. But the price includes unlimited rides and access to basically all of the activities. Season kicks off at the end of September.
13401 SW 224th St, Miami, FL 33170
The Little Farm is another great option for Fall photo opportunities. They have pumpkins, pony rides and a petting zoo. They are only open on the weekends starting in October and charge $10 for admission. Admission includes all of the activities though! They limit capacity to 150 people at a time so it’s first come first served.
14800 NW 67th Avenue, Miami Lakes, FL 33014
Beautiful pumpkin selection, photo opportunities and overall excellent family event. The proceeds from this event go to their Hurricane Relief Missions so you’re also contributing to an excellent cause. Tickets range from $3 on weekdays to $5 depending on weekends. The event kicks off at the end of September.
2820 McFarlane Road, Miami, FL 33133
The Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival happens yearly for only 2 days. It’s a beautiful event but with the downside being CROWDS. Since it only goes on for two days, it gets extremely packed which can be a downside if you wanted a quieter, simpler family experience. On the plus side, they have a bunch of gorgeous pumpkins, amazing fall photo opportunities and wait! Carnival rides, a scarecrow village, cornstalk maze, and food and beer vendors (hey parents!). Tickets are $20 and include entrance plus unlimited rides. October 26th and 27th only!
I hope you get to make it out to one (or ALL) of these pumpkin patches. We can only enjoy these fall activities for a short time so take advantage and go get your family and friends in the fall spirit! It’s always a great time.
